Burt’s Bee lip balm and other products have been around for over 35 years, promoting safe, sustainable practices. Almost every one of us has purchased a tube of Burt’s Lip balm at least once, and many of us have one in our bags right now. Well, the nature-made company has now released its own makeup line for the first time, and I’m pretty excited to check out the colors and feel of the natural products.
New to the Burt’s Bees line of products are seven new makeup products including liquid and powder foundation, blush, mascara, eyeshadow palettes, lines, pencil brow, and a full line of lip color. The liquid foundation gives you a natural finish and all-day moisture made from responsibly sourced meadowfoam seed oil and have twelve base colors. The mattifying powder foundation is made with bamboo to blur imperfections in your skin and give you an even look.
Burt’s Bees have three blushes available in natural colors that are made with bamboo, honey, and vitamin E to nourish your skin and emphasize your natural glow. It’s lightweight and feels great on your skin. Add creamy textured, glossy lip colors for a stunning, natural look made with red raspberry oil, moringa oil, and mimosa flower wax to help hydrate and nourish your lips while wearing.
The eyeliners and brow liners are made with jojoba oil, mango, and meadowfoam seed and do not fade with time. The eyeliner pencils come in three colors and the brown liners two. None of the Burt’s Bee makeup line is tested on animals, and there are no synthetic fragrances, parabens, phthalates, SLS, or petrolatum ingredients added. That’s got to be a good thing since I can’t tell you what those are without first doing a Google search first.
